Middle School team places first out of 70 international teams; Elementary team has a top third finish in their division in their first visit to Globals
The two Haldane teams representing New York State in the Destination Imagination competition last week came away victorious with the older, more experienced team taking the top prize in their division, and the younger team placing in the top third of their division - an excellent finish for first-timers. John R. Acosta
John R. Acosta of Cold Spring, lost his battle to cancer on May 20, 2008. John was born on November 4, 1947 in McAllen Texas, was raised in Houston and moved to New York in the early Eighties. He proudly served his country in the Air Force in the Sixties and soon began his career with the telephone company, from which he had recently retired after 34 years. Full Story
