Boat Capsizes on Hudson River Killing One
Emergency Services work through the night to extricate victims
At a little after 11pm on Monday night, July 28, 2008, E-911 received a call reporting a possible boat capsized on the Hudson River. At that time Cold Spring Fire, Philipstown Ambulance and the Cold Spring PD were alerted for a possible river rescue. The call to the emergency dispatch said that there were 5 people in the water north of Bannerman's Island. Full Story
