The Village of Cold Spring Police Department in conjunction with the Putnam County Sheriff's Office is conducting an investigation into a reported Robbery that occurred on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 10pm. Second Bird Found in Philipstown Tests Positive For West Nile Virus
The Putnam County Health Department received notification from the New York State Department of Health that a crow located in the Town of Philipstown has tested positive for West Nile virus. The Health Department does not release the specific location with the Town. This is the second bird that has tested positive for the virus in 2008. Full Story
Apparent Heart Attack Fells Visitor on Main Street
A 71-year-old Chappaqua man succumbed to an apparent heart attack on Main Street this past Sunday, August 31, 2008.
