William D. "Bill" Green
William D. "Bill" Green of Wappingers Falls, died peacefully on Friday October 31, 2008 at the Pines Nursing Home in Poughkeepsie. He was 77. The son of the late Rev. L. Vance and Esther Green, Bill was born on April 24, 193l in Altoona, PA. He had a long and successful career as a Math and Science teacher at Garrison Union Free School in Garrison. Full Story
Jackson (Jack) Rose
Jackson (Jack) Rose, 87, of Manasquan died on November 9, 2008, at the Jersey Shore University Medical Center of Neptune. Born at home in Garrison, he remained a resident of Garrison, before moving to Manasquan in 1995. Mr. Rose served with the United States Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945 as an Engineer with Company C 2830th Combat Battalion. Full Story
