Putnam Valley School Board Takes Proactive Approach as Governor Paterson Threatens School Aid Cuts
First reports of budget spending show some shortfalls but overall "on target"
Assistant Superintendent Paul Lee said at the Putnam Valley School Board work session held on November 6, 2008, "I prepared a conservative budget, planned for the worst, and hoped for the best." Mr. Lee was presenting a first quarter review of the 2008/2009 district budget. He expressed concern over the possibility of a substantial cut in the state aid to schools.
