Kathryn M. Scheel
Kathryn M. Scheel, age 103, formerly of Garrison, died on Sunday December 23, 2007 at West Ledge Extended Care Facility in Peekskill. Born in NY, NY on July 28, 1904, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Kathryn (Burke) Doris. She was the widow of the late Frederick C. Scheel who pre-deceased her 1978.
Mrs. Scheel was a retired Secretary for the Garrison Union Free School District.
She is survived by her two sons William A. Scheel of South Wellfleet, MA and Frederick V. Scheel of New Jersey and one daughter Kathryn Reydel of Garrison. Three grandchildren and 3 Great grandchildren also survive
Services were held at the Clinton Funeral Home, Cold Spring, on December 27, 2007. Interment followed in the family plot in Cold Spring Cemetery. Family and friends were invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday December 26, 2007.
