Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce Appoints New Executive Officers
The appointees were named for the Executive Officers of the 2008 Board of Directors of the Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce during a special meeting held last week.
In an unusual turn of events, Nathaniel Prentice will assume the office of President on March 1, 2008. Until that time, Cathryn Fadde will retain the title that she has held for the past three years and Prentice will act as Treasurer. In March, when Prentice steps up, Fadde will become Treasurer.
The position of Vice President will be held by Gillian Thorpe who will continue to Chair the Chamber's website and co-chair the Membership Committee with Trustee Randall Chiera. Rand Bridget Otten will become Secretary to the Board and will continue to be Communications Chairperson as well as Co-Chair of Advertising and Promotion along with Trustees Randi Schlesinger and Grey Zeien.
Other committee chairperson positions are as follows: Government Liasons will be Randall Chiera and Seth Gallagher who is a Trustee of the Village Board; Robert Lomino for Fundraising; and Nat Prentice for Membership Meetings.
The Executive Board meets on the first Thursday of the month. Monthly mixers for the Chamber of Commerce membership are held on the third Thursday of the month.
