Talmud Classes Offered Weekly in January at Temple Beth-El
Join Rabbi Neal Loevinger for his weekly Talmud class at Noon on Tuesdays, January 8, 15, 22 and 29. The focus is on Mishnah Brachot, the earliest Talmud on Jewish prayer, and its later commentaries. This part of the Talmud records the transition from Temple Judaism to rabbinic Judaism, and challenges us to think about questions of history, theology, liturgy, and spirituality.
