Family Classic The Red Ballon in free screening at Paramount Center
The Paramount Center for the Arts is pleased to announce that it will a present the classic family film The Red Balloon, free and open to the public on Sunday, January 20 at 3pm.
Newly restored and available for the first time in years, The Red Balloon remains one of the most beloved children's films of all-time. In this deceptively simple, nearly wordless tale, a young boy discovers a stray balloon that seems to have a mind of its own. Wandering through the streets of Paris, the two become inseparable, to the envy of other children. Winner of the Palme d'Or at the 1956 Cannes Film Festival. Presented here with White Mane, the story of a magnificent stallion too proud to be broken in by humans. Only a young boy manages to befriend him.
