Michael Bowman and Vincent Cimino Awarded Cold Spring Fire Co. Firefighters of the Year

At the annual membership meeting of the Cold Spring Fire Company No.1 held on December 14, 2007, Chief Joseph Russo presented Michael Bowman and Vincent Cimino the Firefighter of the Year trophy for 2007. The Firefighter of the Year is awarded to a member who epitomizes the concept of volunteerism. The award was given to firefighters Bowman and Cimino for their outstanding contribution to the fire company.
Both men joined the fire company a little more than two years ago and have since completed training in New York State-certified courses such as Firefighter 1, hazardous materials response and CPR. Not only have Bowman and Cimino responded to a vast majority of emergency calls, training sessions, and fundraisers, but they also serve on the Fire Company's Board of Governors and various other committees. The CSFC would like to extend congratulations to both.
