First Highland Garden Club Wreath Sale a Success
The Highlands Garden Club held their first annual wreath sale this past December, and it was an overwhelming success.
Due to the large support they received from local residents and business owners who purchased the hand-made wreaths, the Club will be able to continue their efforts brightening up the flower boxes at the foot of Main Street, the dock and bandstand. They will once again be sponsoring a Haldane scholarship.
Organizers said they plan to make the wreath sale an annual tradition.
The club's next meeting will be held on February 25 at Butterfield Library at 1pm. All are welcome.
