It's a Girl: Victoria Mejias is Putnam Hospital Center's First Baby of the Year
Victoria Mejias of Carmel made her appearance at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel at 2:54am on January 1, 2008, as the first baby born in Putnam County. Weighing 6 lbs. 3 oz., she is shown with her mother, Malgorzata, and obstetrician/ gynecologist Janusz Rudnicki, MD, of OB/GYN Group of Putnam. Befitting the New Year, Dr. Rudnicki arrived at the Carmel hospital to deliver the baby wearing a tuxedo. Father, Sergio, and Victoria's two older siblings, are not shown.
