Tu B'Shevat Service at Temple Beth El

On Tuesday, January 22, 2008 7pm there will be a special Minyan for Tu B'Shevat at 7:30pm.

The Mishnah teaches that Tu B'Shevat is the new year for the trees. Katy Dunlap, of Hudson River Watershed will update attendees about a Hudson River-wide program that encourages tree planting along the banks of streams leading to the Hudson River. The environmental impact aids in restoring the watershed. Refreshments follow including traditional Tu B'Shevat treats. All are welcome.

This program is free and open to the public. Temple Beth El is located in Poughkeepsie. For additional information call Susan Canning at 454-0570
