Sponsorship Opportunities and Membership Drive Announced for 2008
One of the biggest advantages of being a Chamber member is the opportunity to support fellow members. Our organization gives us a built-in network of shops, restaurants, salons, spas and wellness centers, non-profit organizations, cultural institutions, service providers, professionals of all trades including accountants, contractors, builders, architects, writers, and lawyers. You can find a member for just about any job or item you need and that support should be reciprocal.
The Chamber- with the help of some of our members- is making it even easier to offer this support. In the coming weeks, check your mailbox for the new Chamber Membership Card, which highlights discounts from a variety of our members. Simply present the card at the time of your purchase.
Also coming your way is the Chamber's 2008 Sponsorship Opportunities. The Chamber hosts a number of events each year that draw thousands of people to our community. By becoming a sponsor of one or more of these events, you have the chance to get your business' name into the minds- and hopefully wallets- of the people who attend these events. This exciting list of opportunities includes The Summer Sunset Music Series- every Sunday from July 6 through August 31; The Annual Harvest Festival to be held on Saturday, September 27; the Annual Full Moon Cruise; The Annual Holiday Party and Election; and the Awards Dinner. The Chamber truly wants to continue to promote our area as a vibrant place to live, work or visit and to support each of you. But we are only as strong as our numbers. 2008 can be a year in which we grow exponentially. And the Chamber has a plan to inspire you: For any member who refers a business to the Chamber and becomes a new member, that member will be able to attend the next Chamber mixer free of charge. The members who bring in the most new members will be eligible for a free membership renewal.
