Holistic Moms Host Two Evenings at Desmond-Fish Presentations on vaccines and on organic gardening
Ever wonder what's really in all those vaccines we're told are good for our kids? Judy Apicella, documentary film maker and mom, has traveled the U.S. to interview experts about the harmful effects of vaccines. It seems vaccines may cause autism, ADD, chronic illness, SIDS, and Cancer; vaccines contain Formaldehyde, Rhesus Monkey Tissue, Aluminum and Mercury; and children generally are injected with 23 viruses before they reach the age of 5. Come to this mustsee lecture, on Tuesday, January 29, from 7-9pm, at the Desmond-Fish Library program room, Rt. 9D and 403, Garrison, to learn about vaccines. Q&A will follow the presentation.
On Tuesday, February 26, from 7-9pm, the theme is "Get Ready to Garden." The Hudson Highlands chapter of the Holistic Moms Network hosts Dianne Olsen, Environmental Horticulture and Natural Resources Educator of the Cornell Cooperative Extension Office, who will speak on how to work with the soil you have: figuring out what kind it is, organic ways to improve it, and what plants will grow best in it.
Hosted by the Hudson Highlands Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network. The Holistic Momms Network is an organization for parents interested in natural health, holistic therapies, organic food, breastfeeding, co-sleeping, homeschooling, cloth diapering, fighting commercialism, environmental conservation, and other "alternative" parenting styles.
