Hudson Highlands Nature Museum Presents: How to Curb Climate Change by Eating Local

Join the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum on Thursday, January 24, at 7:30pm at Painter's Tavern, 266 Hudson Street, Cornwall-on-Hudson, for an Evening Speakers Series: How to Curb Climate Change by Eating Local.

Join nationally syndicated columnist, Shawn Dell Joyce, as she explains the importance of supporting sustainable agriculture and small-scale farms. Ms. Dell Joyce will discuss how to source our food closer to home - even in the winter. She will also be signing the new book, Orange County Bounty, The Local Foods Cookbook, which includes recipes, local history of Orange County farms and paintings by Orange County artists. One of the most important things we can do to curb climate change is to source our food within a 100-mile radius. Come learn how to make a difference!
