Artist Sought to Paint Wall Facing Putnam County Courthouse
A white wall (about 26' wide and a bit taller) faces the new Putnam County Courthouse. Which Putnam County artist will be selected to convert this white wall into a beautiful painting of the old courthouse? Just drive in off Route 52 next to George's Restaurant and take a look. It is in a very nice parklike setting. Please mail sketches to Keep Putnam Beautiful of what you propose to paint on the wall...the more sketches the merrier.
Yes, you will be recognized for contributing to the further beautification of Putnam County...and you will be paid by our sponsor. What you would expect for payment? Please include in your response the cost for scaffolding and related materials.
The historic Putnam County courthouse at the intersection of Routes 301 and 52 will be the model for this project.
