Putnam County Youth Board Seeks Nominations for 2008 Youth Volunteer Awards

The Youth Board, in conjunction with the Putnam County Youth Bureau, is planning its 23rd Annual Youth Awards Dinner to be held Friday, April l It". Some of the county's finest youth volunteers will be recognized that evening for their outstanding volunteer service to our community.

Youth Nominees must be between the ages of thirteen (13) and twenty (20) and they must have performed at least one year of volunteer service in Putnam. Their volunteer work must be validated as "outstanding" on the Nomination Form submitted to the Youth Bureau on their behalf.

One adult resident of Putnam will also be honored for his/ her dedication and outstanding volunteer service to the youth of our community. An Adult Nominee must beat least twenty-one (21) years old and must have contributed a minimum of two (2) consecutive years of outstanding volunteer service to the young people of Putnam County.

If you know of someone deserving of such recognition, please call the Putnam County Youth Bureau at (845) 225-6316 Ext. 1113 for a Nomination Form or for further information.

The Youth Bureau must be in receipt of all nominations by Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at 12 noon.
