Avante Ballot Marking System Available for Persons with Disabilities at Presidential Primary Elections

For the February 5, 2008 Presidential Primary Election, The Putnam County Board of Elections will have available at its site at 1 Geneva Rd, Brewster, NY, a Ballot Marking Device that provides accessible voting for persons with disabilities. The Avante Ballot Marking System has capabilities for Sip and Puff, Visually and Hearing Impaired voters. Voting hours are 6am to 9pm.

Voters requiring transportation to the polls should contact the Board of Elections @ 278-6970 between the hours of 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.
