Herbert Leland Stellefson
Herbert Leland Stellefson, age 90, of Nelsonville, died on Monday, January 14, 2008 at NY State Veterans Home in Montrose, NY.
Born July 1, 1917 on Staten Island, NY, he was the son of the late John and Pauline (Grimm) Stellefson.
Mr. Stellefson was a WWII US Navy Veteran, having served from 1944 to 1946. He retired from IBM after working 28 years in Poughkeepsie and East Fishkill.
He is survived by his wife, Nena (Merando) Stellefson, of the home address, two sons, Herbert and Margaret Stellefson, Jr. of Lake Wales, FL, and Wayne and Christine Stellefson of Mechanicsburg, PA, one daughter, Eileen and Gary Myers of Nashville, TN, one brother, Norman Stellefson, of Marlboro, NY, and two grandsons. One brother, Orville Stellefson, and two sisters, Muriel Scott and Thelma Panzella, predeceased him.
Funeral Services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at the Clinton Funeral Home, Cor of Parrott & Pine Sts. (21 Parrott St) Cold Spring, followed by interment at Cold Spring Cemetery. Family and friends weree invited to call at the Clinton Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 15.
