Haldane PTA Announces Successful Reflections Program
Five Haldane Middle and High School students are advancing on to the Regional competition level of the National PTA Reflections Program. Students created works in musical composition, photography and film/video production in response to this year's theme, "I can make a difference by…"
Virginia Califano, Emily Lombardo and Alex Schaefer submitted beautiful photographs, John Procario entered an original musical composition and Stephanie Haviland contributed a film/video production based on her volunteer work in a nursing home.
The Haldane PTA appreciates the support of Ms. Cendali and Mrs. Contini in promoting this program to the students at Haldane.
The National PTA Reflections program is more than 38 years old. Ten million-plus students have participated in the program since it was created.
The National PTA encourages its nearly 6 million members to be involved in key child education and welfare issues. The organization serves as an advocate for children and families in schools, the community, and before government agencies.
