Come & Play Wednesdays Begin Again at Howland Library
Howland Public Library and the Wee Play Community Project are joining forces again to bring you Come & Play Wednesdays at Howland Public Library on 313 Main St. in Beacon. Please note the new day. The library's Community Room will be open as a playroom from 10:30am to noon beginning Wednesday, Feb. 6 for babies and young children with their parents/caregivers for a time of play and socializing. The purpose of Come & Play is to provide a fun destination for active play during the colder months. There will be an opendoor play date every Wednesday that does not require any registration. Toys, larger equipment and music are provided, however, participants are welcome to bring a toy to share
Howland Public Library has been serving the community since 1875 and offers many enriching programs for children of all ages. If you have a child between the ages of 2-6, the library also offers Toddler Tales for very young children on Wednesday mornings and Story Time for children ages 3 and up on Thursday mornings between 10:30-11:15am.
For more information about Come & Play Wednesdays or any of the youth programs at the library, contact Ginny Figlia, Youth Services Librarian, at 831-1134 ex.103 or visit http://beaconlibrary.org.
