Flowers, Everlasting Blooms at Flat Iron Gallery
The Flat Iron Gallery of Peekskill will have a group exhibit of oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, and photographs entitled, Flowers, Everlasting for the month of February (1- 24th) . An artist's reception will be held Sun., Feb. 3 from 2-5 p.m. The new floral works and jewelry will be specially displayed for the celebration of Valentine's Day. The Flat Iron Gallery now represents over 100 fine artists and sculptors and has thirty different jewelers.
In Flowers Everlasting, renowned artist Andrew Lattimore of Cornwall will exhibit three floral oil paintings. He was recently commissioned to paint Governor Pataki's portrait that will hang in the state capital building in Albany. Internationally known painter and illustrator, Neil Waldman will also have a floral watercolor on display. David Fox of the Westchester Art Workshop will have a floral oil and floral monoprints. Erica Baker will exhibit floral pastels and there will be textile paintings by Berenice Pliskin and Judith Spark as well as photographs by Raeford Dwyer, Bob Pliskin, Howard Goodman, Joseph Squillante, Susan Mancini and Judith Monteferrante. Anne Johann and Nadine Gordon Taylor, who have art studios in the historic Flatiron building in Peekskill will also have works on display.
