Girl Scout Troop 2032 of Cold Spring has completed steps to earn the Girl Scout Silver Award. The Silver Award is the 2nd highest award a girl can achieve in scouting.

The girls needed to complete three Interest Patches, 15 hours of leadership and the Silver Career Award before they could start their final project. After many months of planning, organizing and fundraising a Luau Dance was held for about 50 Dutchess Putnam PARC residents.

The girls would like to thank Tommy Nastasi, who donated his time to DJ the dance, all the women from the community who worked with them and of course the are now on their way to completing the Gold Award.
