Senator Leibell Tours Putnam Hospital Patient Building Following Handover of State Dormitory Authority Check
 | | New York State Senator Vincent Leibell (second from left) recently presented Putnam Hospital Center with a $500,000 check from the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York tagged for Senate initiatives. |
| The monies will be directed toward the purchase of a stateof the-art linear accelerator for radiation therapy which will be offered at the Carmel hospital's new cancer center, slated to open in late spring.

McGregor (left) and PHC Senior Project Manager Rick Faley led Senator Leibell on a tour of the five-story patient building that will house the cancer center, private patient rooms, physician offices and hospital/community use conference center. The building is approximately 70% complete.
