Local Students Make the Dean's List at SUNY Oswego
Several area residents have been named to the Dean's List for the fall semester at SUNY Oswego. Showing academic achievement, with their major and honor in parentheses, are:
-Ashley N. Slattery of Sprout Brook Road in Garrison, a freshman (undeclared major).
-Diana W. Gonzalez of Old Church Road in Putnam Valley, a sophomore (secondary education ).
-Anthony S. Casabianca of Columbus Avenue in Putnam Valley, a sophomore (psychology).
-Emily R. Boyd of Egan Road in Cold Spring, a sophomore (psychology).
To be included on the Deans' List, students must have a semester grade average of 3.30 to 3.79.
Admission to SUNY Oswego is competitive. The Princeton Review selected Oswego for its college guidebook "The Best Northeastern Colleges." A 147- year-old comprehensive college in the State University of New York system, Oswego enrolls over 8,000 students in its College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business and School of Education.
