Tuesday Talmud Classes at Temple Beth-El
Join Rabbi Neal Loevinger for his weekly Talmud class at Noon on Tuesdays at Temple Beth-El, 118 Grand Avenue, Poughkeepsie. The group will meet on February 5, 19 and 26 and the focus is on Mishnah Brachot, the earliest Talmud on Jewish prayer, and its later commentaries. This part of the Talmud records the transition from Temple Judaism to rabbinic Judaism, and challenges us to think about questions of history, theology, liturgy, and spirituality.
