Franciscan Friars of the Atonement to Burn Palms in Preparation for Ash Wednesday
The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement will burn blessed palm branches on Sunday, February 3, after the 11am Mass at Pilgrim Hall, Graymoor. The ashes will be used to mark the foreheads of the faithful on February 6, Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent.
Anyone wishing to dispose of palm branches from last Palm Sunday may bring them to be burnt.
