Graymoor to Celebrate Start of Lenten Season with Mardi Gras Pancake Supper
The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement will host a festive Mardi Gras Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday, February 5, 2007 from 5:30-7pm in the Friars' Dining Room (fifth floor of the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center). Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for child, children under 6 free. If you plan to attend, please call 845-424-2111 for reservations by Monday, February 4.
The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement are a religious community of brothers and priests founded in 1898 by Father Paul Wattson. Their worldwide ministries include Christian unity; interfaith dialogue among Christians, Jews, Muslims, and Buddhists; serving the homeless and those suffering from alcoholism, drug addictions, and HIV/AIDS; preaching the gospel in parishes around the world, and offering respite and hope at their Spiritual Life Center to those in need of spiritual renewal.
