A Groundhog Day Celebration at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum

On Saturday, February 2, at 10am, the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum will be hosting: A Groundhog Day Celebration. Come to the Museum's Outdoor Discovery Center to celebrate Groundhog Day. Chuckie, a live groundhog, will be there. Will he see his shadow? There will be music and a Master of Ceremony. Those who attend will learn interesting facts about groundhogs: such as groundhog biology, lifecycle, and hibernation habits.

Each participant will create a groundhog craft and sing groundhog songs. The only prediction Chuckie can make for now is: a fun and educational experience for everyone. This program is recommended for All Ages! No pre-registration necessary. Cost: $5. Members: $3.

For information, call (845) 534-5506, ext 204 - Tuesday through Friday, 9am until 4pm or visit the museum's website at www.hhnaturemuseum.org .
