Program on Planning for Retirement at Desmond-Fish Library
On Thursday, February 7 at 7pm, Scott Valente will give a presentation on "Six Mistakes Retirees Often Make with Their Finances And Strategies to Help You Avoid Them" at the Desmond-Fish Library. This program will be of interest to investors who are planning for retirement or have already retired and want to learn ways to help manage retirement assets. Topics which will be covered include:
-The wrong investments for the wrong time horizons- do you own investments with characteristics and risks not suitable for your age?
-Not understanding or covering your long-term care risks- strategies to help you manage these costs and to preserve assets for other family members (Medicaid Planning & Long-Term Care Insurance)
