James W. Daniels
James W. Daniels age 61, of Sanford, passed away January 15, 2008. Mr. Daniels was born May 4, 1946 in Cold Spring. He worked as a Corrections Officer for many years. Mr. Daniels was past President of the Green Correctional Facility Counsel Union # 82. He was the Ex-Chief of Nelsonville Volunteer Fire Dept., he was a member of the Medway Grapeville Vol. Fire Department in Climax, New York and he was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post # 53. He also was an avid bowler over the years.
Mr. Daniels is survived by his loving wife of 8 1/2 years, Patricia A. Daniels, his children; Judy Lynn (Steven) Pebler of Hannacroix, New York, Phillip (Deborah) Jacobs of Leeds, New York, and Robert (Elaine) Jacobs of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He is also survived by his sister, Roberta (Michael) Prokosch of Sanford, his brothers, Michael (Nancy) Daniels of Safety Harbor, Florida, and Gerald (Sharon) Daniels of Deltona, and seven grandchildren. A Memorial Service for Mr. Daniels was held on Sunday, January 27, 2008 at the Medway Grapeville Vol. Fire Co., Hannacroix, NY.
