Gerard Moore
Gerard Holland Moore, age 50, of Garrison, died on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on August 30, 1957, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Dorothy Rose (Schmidt) Moore.
Mr. Moore worked as a Chef at Somers Nursing Home in Somers, NY. A Garrison resident since 2000, he was a member, and past Captain, of the Garrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
He is survived by his fiancée, Patricia D. Loisele, a daughter, Holly Anne Moore of Colonial Heights, VA, two brothers, Thomas M. Moore of Virginia Beach, VA, and John S. Moore of Albuquerque, NM, one sister, Francine L. Moore of Brooklyn, NY, and one grandchild, Brianna Alexis Miller.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on Wednesday, January 30 at the Little Flower Chapel at Graymoor, Route 9, Garrison. Friends called at the Clinton Funeral Home, Cor. of Parrott and Pine Sts. (21 Parrott St.) Cold Spring, on Tuesday, January 29.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mr. Moore's name to the Garrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps, PO Box 121, Garrison, NY 10524.
