Gladys Christine Fischer Ormiston
Gladys Christine Fischer Ormiston, age 92, died on Monday, January 28, 2008, in Aiken, SC.
Mrs. Ormiston was born in Cold Spring, daughter of the late George and Bella (Peters) Fischer. She was a resident of Aiken, SC, for over 25 years, and a member of South Aiken Presbyterian Church, Aiken.
Survivors include a niece, Holly J. Ralph of Satellite Beach, FL; two sisters, Irene Chase of Cold Spring, NY and Hazel Larson of Seattle, WA; and a brother, William Fischer of Cold Spring.
Funeral services were held at the First Presbyterian Church, Cold Spring on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Interment followed in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home, Cold Spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 7044, Columbia, SC 29202-7044.
