PARC Extends Fund Raising Educational Supplies Sale
Children with Autism and special needs to benefit

The holiday shopping and giving season might be over, but at Educational Warehouse, the sales and donations are just getting started.

Educational Warehouse is on a mission to benefit children with autism and special needs. To accomplish this goal, Educational Warehouse, the tri-state area's leading retailer of quality educational toys, games and teaching materials has agreed to offer their entire inventory at a very dramatic discount, with a percentage of all sales going to Putnam ARC.

Based in Brewster, Putnam ARC is a leading provider of services for people with developmental disabilities in Putnam, Westchester and Dutchess counties. Funds from the Educational Warehouse sale will be designated to educational programs and services for children with autism, pervasive developmental disorders, and special needs

Through February 17, 2008, all Educational Warehouse locations, including White Plains, NY; Spring Valley, NY; and Danbury, CT; and the retailer's online store, www.educationalwarehouse.com, will cut prices by 30 percent on every item they sell including toys, games, books, software, puzzles, learning aids, school and office supplies and more.

"Buying our unique toys and specialty gifts at a great price, says Easton King, President of Educational Warehouse, will benefit not only the children in your lives, but all children served by PARC."

Putnam ARC, founded in 1954 as a 501 c/3 non-profit, private agency, serves more than 650 people each year with developmental disabilities and special needs. Each year, PARC serves hundreds of children and preschoolers with special needs through educational advocacy, evaluations, case management, preschool services, early intervention, and a broad-spectrum of support services, including support groups and respite for family members.

"We are honored to partner with Educational Warehouse and to be the recipient of such a generous gift from the King family," said Rand Bridget Often, PARC's director of development. "Funds from the February sale will allow PARC to continue its mission of providing exceptional opportunities for children with disabilities to achieve success."

And adding to the success of this sale and the donation to PARC, a challenge grant has been offered by Rosen & Company, Inc. of Armonk, NY. Rosen & Company (www.rosen-co.com) will match the donation from sales at Educational Warehouse up to $5,000 to support PARC's young people with disabilities.

Additional details of the sale are available at www.educationalwarehouse.com/ PARC.htm or by calling 845- 426-ABCD including all store locations, hours and coupon discount codes for online purchases.
