Giant Slalom Race at Belleayre Benefits Cerebral Palsy Group
Local radio station WKNY is sponsoring a giant slalom race for skiers and snowboarders at Belleayre on Sunday, March 2 for the benefit of the Community Rehabilitation Center of Kingston. A pre-registration fee of $14.90 includes the price of the lift ticket and the race entry fee. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers in each age category.
Applications are available from WKNY, 718 Broadway, Kingston, NY, (845) 331-1490, Belleayre Mountain Ski Center, P.O. Box 313, Highmount, NY, (845) 254-5600 or the Community Rehabilitation Center (845) 336-7235 Ext. 202. All entries must be prepaid by February 29.
All proceeds benefit the Community Rehabilitation Center, which provides programs and services to infants, children and adults with a wide variety of acquired and developmental disabilities. CRC's program include early intervention services to infants, special education programs for children with disabilities, adult day programs, outpatient clinical services, and residential programs for children and adults.
The Community Rehabilitation Center is operated by Cerebral Palsy of Ulster County and is a United Way Member agency.
