Bryce Tortora Biederman of Garrison Goes to Junior Olympics for Fencing

Local Garrison student Bryce Tortora Biederman recently qualified and will attend the Junior Olympics in Fencing this coming weekend in Charlotte, North Carolina. Bryce is an 11th grade, Deans List student at The Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, where he has been a member of the Varsity Fencing Team for the last five years.

He placed 3rd on February 2, at the regional Independent Schools Fencing League Individual Fencing Tournament & fourth on December 8, 2007 at the annual Mamaroneck Invitational Fencing Tournament, the first tournament of this year's high school season. In October 2007 Bryce placed 8th in the United States Fencing Association Division III National level tournament held in Tuscon, Arizona.

Bryce is the son of local dance therapist Suzi Tortora.
