Galef to Host Red Cross Community Disaster Readiness Meeting
Assemblywoman Galef and the Westchester and Putnam chapters of the American Red Cross will host a public meeting on preparing for natural and man-made disasters. The meeting will be held on Thursday, February 28 from 7 to 8:30pm at the Cortlandt Town Hall, 1 Heady Street, Cortlandt Manor.
The Red Cross will give a presentation designed specifically for community members to help them to be "Red Cross Ready" for natural and man-made disasters. The presentation will cover steps families and individuals can take to prepare themselves, their homes and workplaces, and their communities in order to most effectively respond to emergencies.
