Michael Richard Mihalik

Michael Richard Mihalik, age 63, of Garrison, passed away suddenly on February 15, 2008 at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor.

Michael was born August 28, 1944 in Cold Spring. Michael was in the Army from 1966 to 1968. He retired from a lengthy career at AT&T in White Plains as a Manager and subsequently had a second career with GStek at West Point as a Site Manager of Telecommunications. Michael was a former member of the Garrison Volunteer Fire Company.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Susan Mihalik, of Garrison; His children Lisa Mihalik, Jennifer O'Toole, Krista Mihalik; and three grandchildren, Tyler O'Toole, Paige O'Toole and Sophia; one granddog Chip. He is survived by his brother Robert Mihalik and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael Mihalik.

A memorial service for friends and family will be held on Saturday, February, 23, 2008 at St. Philips Church in the Highlands, Garrison at 11am. Following the service there will be a gathering of friends and family at the attached Parish house.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to the Upstate NY Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Albany Office, Attn: Charity Shoen, 421 New Karner Road, Suite 6, Albany, New York 12205.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott St., Cold Spring.
