American Cancer Society Daffodil Deadline Looms
It's your last chance to fight cancer with flowers in 2008. The American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days sale deadline is February 29, 2008. To participate and get those last minute orders in for the spring flower of hope call your American Cancer Society at 1-800-ACS- 2345.
Hundreds of thousands of freshly cut daffodils will arrive soon to bring smiles to cancer patients and to help support American Cancer Society cancer research, prevention programs and services for survivors and their families. The flowers will be available for pick up on March 10. This year, fresh cut bunches of 10 Daffodils are only $10. A 4" potted plant is available for $10 and the ever popular limited edition Boyd's Bear and a Bunch is $25. You can make a $20 donation to the "Gift of Hope," which supports the mission of the American Cancer Society and enables the society to anonymously deliver flowers to a local health care facility.
