Sheriff Announces Safe Boater Course
Sheriff Donald B. Smith announces that the Putnam County Sheriff's Department will be hosting a New York State Safe Boaters Course on March 5 and 6, 2008 from 6 to10pm at Putnam Valley High School. Attendance is mandatory for both nights. The law now requires the Safe Boaters Course to be completed by all persons operating a personal watercraft on waters in New York State.
