Assemblymen Ball Votes No But Falsely Takes Credit
To the Editor:

I feel compelled to write in regard to the story appearing recently in your newspaper subtitled "Grant provided by Assemblymen Ball". I think your readers should know that the grant which Mr. Ball claims to have provided is contained in Assembly Bill A-4304-D page 199, line 25, which Mr. Ball voted against on April 1, 2007. I think it is a sad commentary on a person's character to use a community service organization to take credit for something which they did not support. It is far more important that an elected official stand behind their vote and defend it rather than hope no one notices just to get your picture in the paper as often as possible for re-election.
