Ann R. Kent
Ann R. Kent, age 87, of Cold Spring, died on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY.
Born in New York, NY on October 30, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Mammana) Pensiero.
Mrs. Kent was retired from her position as Medical Secretary for Dr. Sae Douk Chun in Glenham, NY. She was a member of the Highlands Garden Club and Philipstown Senior Citizens. As a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church, she was active in the Court Rita chapter of Catholic Daughters.
Mrs. Kent was predeceased by her husband, William P. Kent, in April of 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Judith Ann and John Lewis; her son, William J. Kent; a sister, Josephine and William Hetherington; three brothers, William Pensiero, Joseph Pensiero, and Jerry Pensiero; five grandchildren, Anne Marie and Greg Nicholas, David Lewis, Aaron Kent, Kimberly Kent, and Alicia Kent; and three great grandchildren, Travis, Alison, and Helen. In addition to her husband, one son, James Joseph Kent, and two brothers, Philip Pensiero and Sebastian Pensiero also predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial was be held on Monday, February 25 at Our Lady of Loretto Church, followed by interment at Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Mrs. Kent's name to Habitat for Humanity, 745 Broadway, Newburgh, NY 12550. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home, Cor. of Parrott and Pine Sts. (21 Parrott St.) Cold Spring.
