Series of Trail Workshops Offered by NY-NJ Trail Conference at Fahnestock
The New York-New Jersey Trail Conference is holding a series of workshops in Fahnestock State Park this April. Each course entails some classroom instruction followed by practical field experience. Trail Maintenance 101 is designed for those who are interested in taking care of existing trails in our expanding trail network. It will be held April 12. Trail construction and restoration is an advanced course to be held April 13. Trail layout and design is a 2-day course to be held April 5 and 6, and for this class registration is limited to 20 individuals. These are free and open to the public so please take advantage of this opportunity so close to home.
