Book Signing at St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Franciscan Friars of the Atonement
Nora Sharkey Murphy, author of Youth Guide to St. Patrick's Cathedral will sign copies of her book after Sunday Mass
In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement will host a book signing by Nora Sharkey Murphy, local author of the recently published Youth Guide to Saint Patrick's Cathedral, on Sunday, March 16, 2008, following the 11am Mass in Pilgrim Hall. Copies of her book, which Murphy describes as a "snapshot of the history, significance and place of Saint Patrick's Cathedral in the American Catholic Church," will be available for $10.
At 12:30pm, there will be a Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner in the Friars' Dining Room (fifth floor of the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center). Cost for the dinner is $10 for adults, $5 for children, children under 6 free. Reservations requested by Wednesday, March 12th; please call the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center at 424-2111.
