Franciscan Friars of the Atonement to Host Retreat for Sponsors in 12-Step Programs
A psychologist and a psychiatrist who serve clients at St. Christopher's Inn, a homeless shelter and substance abuse treatment center operated by the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, will lead a special weekend retreat for sponsors on Friday, March 7 through Sunday, March 9, 2008 at the Graymoor Spiritual Life Center.
Among the topics that will be addressed by Dr. Nancy O'Donnell and Dr. Timothy Rowe are the changing face of addiction, medications for addiction and dual diagnosis in recovery.

The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement are a religious community of brothers and priests founded in 1898 by Father Paul Wattson.
