Megillat Esther Reading at Temple Beth-El
A Purim celebration will begin at 7pm on March 20 with a Ma'ariv & Megillah reading, costume parade and more at Temple Beth-El, 118 Grand Avenue, Poughkeepsie.
The theme for this year's Purim celebration is the circus. Dress up as an acrobat, clown, animal or animal trainer, gymnast, musician, juggler and ringmaster - use your imagination and join the Purim fun. All are welcome. The temple will supply the groggers and Hamantaschen; you bring the creativity and enthusiasm. A Shalom Tots program will take place in the chapel for tots ages 4 and under.
