Jazz Vespers Features Celtic Flair This Saturday

Make St. Patrick's Day a twoday celebration by coming to this special Jazz Vespers, blending jazz and traditional Irish music this Saturday, March 15th at 5:30pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown, 10 Academy St., Cold Spring.

Traditional Irish accordionist Ann Dillon will add a Celtic flair to the jazz band led by Tom McCoy on piano, with Mike LaRocco on drums, Lew Scott on bass and music. Featured vocalists are Lisa Sabin and Deb Gromack.

Under the leadership of the church's musical director and pianist Tom McCoy, who performs extensively around the area and the planet, this event is not to be missed.

The Rev. Leslie Mott will conduct the brief service.

If you love jazz, come hear and experience the beauty of this one-hour service. It's a great way to combine wonderful music and spirituality. The Jazz Vespers service is free and open to all.

All are also welcome to the traditional Sunday service held every Sunday at 10:30am with Rev. Leslie Mott and Music Director Tom McCoy. For more information contact the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown at 265-3220.
