Carmel-Kent Lions Club Pledge $15,000 Towards Putnam Hospital Center's Campaign for Tomorrow

Putnam Hospital Center Foundation Executive Director Jeffrey D. Kellogg (left) was recently presented with the second installation of the Carmel-Kent Lions Club's $15,000 five-year pledge to the hospital's Campaign for Tomorrow. The capital improvements campaign includes the construction of PHC's new fivestory 113,000 square foot patient building to house a new cancer center with radiation therapy, hospital/community use conference center, private patient rooms and physician offices opening this June. The Lions raised the funds with its twentieth annual sponsorship of the PHC Reservoir Classic Road Race; the twenty-first annual event will be held Sunday, September 21st. On hand for the presentation were race coordinator Jay Brown (center) and club president Sam Rapa.
