Ronald G. Norman
Ronald G. Norman, 75, passed away March 13, 2008. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 3, 1932 to Bradford and Alma Johanson Norman. He was a Korean War veteran and retired from Univac Corp. in NYC.
A longtime Putnam Valley resident, Ron will be remembered for his love of farming, caring for animals, classical music, and devotion to his family. He was the beloved husband for 45 years of Leahmarie (Lee), loving father of Leslie Anne Norman and Jennifer (John) Caissie, and devoted grandfather of Melissa Norman and Matthew and Michael Caissie as well as great-grandson Christopher Manino.
His family received friends on Sunday, March 16 at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, 313 N. James St. Peekskill, where a funeral service was held on Monday, March 17, followed by a luncheon at the Shrub Oak United Methodist Church.
